Born in Poznań, Poland, she graduated with distinction from the primary and secondary music school and Professor Waldemar Andrzejewski’s piano class at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. She continued her education under Professors Dubravka Tomsic and Victor Mierzhanov at the P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.
She has given concerts throughout Poland, appeared at such prestigious music festivals as the Festival of Polish Pianism in Słupsk, and the F. Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój, as well as abroad, including Hungary, Austria, Germany, France, and Sweden. She has made a number of recordings for the Polish Radio and Television.
Her essential artistic and teaching activity is based at Poznań Academy of Music where she began working as junior lecturer at the Piano Department and received her doctoral and postdoctoral degrees. In 1998 she was appointed Professor of the Academy, and five years later the President of the Republic of Poland granted her the title of Full Professor.
Head of the Piano, Harpsichord and Organ Department at Poznań Academy of Music in years 2005-2016, she has also been serving as Dean of the Department of Instruments at the same school since 2012.
Her intense teaching activity involves teaching the piano classes at Poznań Academy of Music and Poznań School of Talents. Her students and pupils have received over 100 prizes at national and international piano competitions, and tour the world, from Japan to the USA. Professor Kledzik serves as juror at numerous national and international piano competitions. She is also Artistic Director of the International Piano Competition “Halina Czerny-Stefańska in Memoriam” in Poznań.
